Adobe Lightroom: Face Detection

Russell Tracy August 31, 2016

Quick tip today on Lightroom is about the face detection or people feature in Lightroom. The face detection feature its a pretty useful feature if you're looking for photos of a specific person but you don't remember when you took the photo or you want to find ever photo of a particular person you've taken.

Its pretty easy to use. Just open up Lightroom and when you're in Library view navigate to the folder that you want to run face detection on. One you're in the folder there is a button above the film strip that looks like a face. Click that and Lightroom will analyze all the photos and pick out the faces. Once thats complete all you have to do is go and put a name to the faces.

Check out the video above to see how this is done.
